TCG stands for Trading Card Game(s) and is an avid online hobby of mine. The original idea was thought of by Calico (who we all own many thanks to for coming up with!). The point of the TCG is to collect/master decks. You can earn cards by playing online games and other ways, then you may trade your card. TCG is very fun, it passes time, ang you get to meet more people and expand your knowledge of a certain subjects. It's also very addictive...
This section will be like a mini-reminiscence, since today, I found the revival of the first TCG. Senshi Card-Mania!-R.
Looking through that, I realised TCG hasn't been around as long as we think, but for me, it's been a nice journey full of memories that I don't want to forget :)
Okay, so how did I start and get into TCG? Well, I don't exactly remember 8D. I know it was in the summer of 2006, I stumbled upon something, and boom. I was hooked.
I remember, (linked if still alive, which I applaud), Divinity, Morning Glory, Ratoria, Fatal Cards, Kyandii, Shinobi, Whimsical.
Ah, now I remember. Whimsical, owned by an online friend and blod buddy Emily, was a Pita Ten related TCG. I loved Pita Ten (in case you can't tell by my name) and joined.
Soon, I was hooked. Morning Glory was probably the one I was most active in. Unfortunately, Ashley had to close it down :( Divinity, ah, Trinity. I admired her so much!
And now, divinity is still alive, and I hope it continues to live for a long time :) Mina's Ratoria bishoujo TCG was a very well known TCG, and so was Xianghua's Fatal Cards.
Unfortately, Ratoreia's host was down, and by then, two short months had ended and summer was over. I quit all my TCG's because school took up my time...
So how did I get back into it? One lazy evening, I found Genki Beam!. I remembered Genki Beam from before, but I
also remembered how I never joined. But now I had changed, I was now into JPOP and music much more than anime/manga. So... I resisted the urge to get back into TCGs, however, I couldn't.
I joined. Then I found many more TCG's, however many of them were on the verge of closing. I joined a select few that I believed I would be interested in. I promised to only join 3, but
I seriously have no idea how many I joined when I found starter packs in my email :x So I kept with those, and swore not to join any more until the summer. And now, I'm here, re-living my summer love :)
A huge long blabble, because I'm bored D: Because TCG is fun, kills time, and you get to meat tons of new people :)
